Bollywood actress and model, Gauhar Khan was slapped by a male audience member for wearing 'short clothes' and dancing to vulgar songs. The actress was shooting for the finale of the reality music show 'India's Raw Star' when the incident occurred. 

IBNLive reports that Akil Malik, the audience member, apparently got up from the audience during Khan's performance and started touching her inappropriately before slapping her when she resisted. He shouted at her for dressing 'indecently' 'shamelessly' while being a Muslim herself. 

Security personnel of the studio tackled him and handed him over to the police, where he was sent for a medical check up to ascertain if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The accused will likely be charged with molestation and assault.
