Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas fan battle turns ugly in Bhimavaram

Written by : TNM Staff

The Bhimavaram town in West Godavari witnessed utter chaos after fans of Telugu actor Pawan Kalyan destroyed public property and burnt huge flex boards.

The reason for this as claimed by the 'powerstar' fans was that that Baahubali actor Prabhas’ fans had taken down flexes and banners that had been put up to commemorate Pawan Kalyan’s birthday on Wednesday.

The fans had celebrated his birthday on Wednesday in a grand manner, taking out a bike procession and erecting the star’s flex boards, cutouts and banners across the town, a report in the Deccan Chronicle adds.

However, they found that some of the banners had been pulled down by Wednesday night, and charged Prabhas fans to be the culprits.

Following this, they destroyed hoardings, street name plates, broke glass panes of ATMs and burnt Baahubali flex boards and cutouts.

They also took out a huge procession in town, demanding that the government take action against those responsible for the destroyed banners.

The Bhimavaram Police brought the situation under control and registered two cases against both the groups based on the complaints of the leaders of the fan associations of the two heroes.
