Naidu writes to Paneerselvam: assures speedy magisterial enquiry in Chitoor incident

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Friday wrote to his Tamil Nadu counterpart, O. Panneerselvam stating that a magisterial inquiry into the incident in Seshachalam forest area has been started and that it would be completed without delay.Replying to a letter that was written to him, Naidu also added that he had provided all necessary assistance in completing the process of delivering the body of the relatives in time.Paneerselvam had earlier written to Naidu requesting a "credible and speedy enquiry into the matter so that the facts and are established and responsibility fixed for possible human rights violations."Naidu in his response, acknowledged Paneerselvam's concerns and added that the enquiry would be completed as soon as possible."I assure you that the inquiry will be completed without delay and further necessary action will be taken accordingly", the letter concluded.Tweet Follow @thenewsminute
