Low-intensity blast at Nellore court, no casualties reported

A low-intensity blast took place at the Nellore District Court on Monday. No casualties or injuries were reported.

Speaking to The News Minute, Vishal Gunni, Nellore SP, said, “The blast took place between 3:30pm and 4pm at the rear side of the district court.”

The court premises have been evacuated and the area has been cordoned off. A bomb disposal squad is at the crime scene along with senior police officers.

Gunni also said that the bomb squad is analysing material at the crime scene. Investigations are on.
