Jagan vows to return land being “forcibly taken” by government for capital construction

The News Minute | January 6, 2015 | 8:30 am ISTYSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy while addressing farmers who came from the capital region to share their grievances on Monday asked them to move the land pooling issue to the court.Jaganmohan also added that he would return the land being “forcibly taken” by the government for construction of the capital once he came to power, a report in the Times of India adds.He demanded an inquiry by a sitting high court judge into ‘forcible’ land pooling and announced a two-day fast on January 31 and February 1 at Tanuku.Jagan also visited governor E S L Narasimhan along with YSRCP MLA’s from Krishna and Guntur districts submitted a memorandum wherein he requested the governor to order a probe into the “harassment” on the farmers that refused to part with their land. Tweet
