A day after a public spat between Andhra ministers Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Ayyanna Patrudu, state Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu expressed his displeasure. 

"We have discussed their differences even in the past and made clear that no one can anyone be spared if their differences are putting the party in trouble. I am unable to understand as to what is happening at the field level," the Times of India quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Andhra HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao wrote a letter to Naidu, hitting out at Minister for Roads and Buildings Ayyanna Patrudu.

This came after Patrudu had hinted Ganta's involvement in a recent land scam in  Visakhapatnam, and told media persons that it was politicians "who had migrated to Vizag, that were indulging in land scams."

Quoting sources, TOI reported that Naidu gave directions to several senior TDP leaders, and asked them to broker peace between the two bickering parties. 

In his letter, Ganta had demanded a thorough probe by the CID or the CBI into the scam, to prove the 'facts', and claimed that Ayyanna's remarks were damaging the reputation of the TDP.

He also said that the statements were giving ammunition to Opposition leaders to attack the ruling party.

The two leaders are known to have friction between them and have had several such tiffs in the past.

In fact, this is not even the first time that they are getting a warning from the Chief Minister.

In April 2015, Naidu had reportedly warned both ministers that they would lose their posts, if such incidents continued.

"I expect both of you to use your seniority and experience to strengthen the party and help the people in the state. Every member should strive hard for the development of the party and try to strengthen the TDP to make it a permanent ruling party in the state," he was quoted as saying.
