CCTV footage shows female TT players leaving coach's room at night; stirs up controversy

The News Minute | January 14, 2015 | 10:00 am ISTA CCTV footage has stirred up a controversy after it allegedly showed a table tennis coach dragging a girl player out of her room and getting involved in a physical confrontation outside a hotel room in Andhra Pradesh. The player-cum coach were suspended after this incident, which occurred during the 76th National Cadet and Sub Junior Championship in Rajahmundry.A total of 16 players from Chhattisgarh went to participate in the tournament.Reports also suggest that the secretary of the Chhattisgarh Association resigned from his post, taking moral responsibility since he had sent the coach there.A three member committee has also been formed by the Chhattisgarh Association to look into the matter.TweetFollow @thenewsminute
