Another batch of employees who were working from the Andhra Pradesh government's temporary secretariat in Velagapudi travelled back to their Hyderabad offices on Thursday

The New Indian Express reported:

A batch of 45 employees from the transport and roads & buildings departments and the Vigilance Commission, were bused to Velagapudi from Hyderabad on Thursday. After formally moving into their respective offices on the first floor of Block-5 of half a Secretariat, they got back into the bus and rumbled back to Hyderabad. 

The report also quotes an employee as saying "There are no toilets and drainage facilities there. The flooring work is still going on. There is no water. The interiors are being done very slowly."

In the first week of July, many employees attended an inaugural function of the temporary secretariat, only to return to Hyderabad on the same evening due to lack of infrastructure.

The interim government complex is estimated to be ready only by the second week of August.

Many employees are reluctant to shift to Andhra as they are leaving behind their families and friends in Hyderabad. Many people are also leaving behind children, who are studying in schools in the city.

Many are also dissatisfied as this would be the second time that they would be shifting as they had to move offices in Hyderabad after the bifurcation of Telangana.
