With Andhra Pradesh's temporary secretariat almost ready, many of the state's employees currently working out of Hyderabad have started shifting.

The New Indian Express reported:

Of the 90 commissionerates and directorates, located in Hyderabad, at least 30 have begun the process of completely shifting their offices to Vijayawada and Guntur cities, whereas remaining departments are waiting for their turn, as the renovation works of the private buildings they have taken on lease in these two cities, are going on.

Many employees have been given a deadline of June 27 to shift and most of the HoDs are adhering to the deadline and have started shifting.

A senior official told TNIE "Our office will start functioning  in Vijayawada from June 27. Rest of them will move in a phased manner from June 28. The entire process of relocation will be over by July first week."
