The first look of the Mahesh Babu starrer Spyder along with its title has been revealed and it is going viral online.

While this has the fans excited, news from trade sources are that the satellite rights for the Telugu version alone has been bagged by Zee network for a whopping Rs 15 crore.

Made simultaneously in Tamil as well as Telugu, the film will be out in theatres on June 23, 2017. Plans are afoot to release the film’s dubbed version in Malayalam as well, considering the actor’s huge fan base in Kerala.

Directed by AR Murugadoss, this spy thriller has Mahesh Babu essaying the role of an intelligence officer named Shiva.

Rakul Preet Singh is pairing up with the actor and the star cast also includes Bharath and SJ Suryah in important roles.

Made a on a huge budget of Rs 115 crore by NV Prasad under the banner NVR Cinemas and presented by Tagore Madhu, the film will be distributed by Reliance Entertainment.

Composing the music for this flick is Harris Jayaraj, cinematography has been handled by Santosh Sivan with Vijay Milton chipping in for additional photography. Sreekar Prasad is editing the film.

In fact, Harris Jayaraj is collaborating with director AR Murugadoss for the fourth time after coming up with some chartbusters in Ghajini, 7aum Arivu and Thuppakki.

The composer is also re-entering Tollywood after a gap of seven years, which has upped the expectations for the film’s music album.

Being an action entertainer and spy thriller, the film has a number of fight and chase sequences which have been choreographed by top stunt directors like Peter Hein, Anal Arasu, Anbariv, Ravi Varma and Ram-Laxman.

With the Telugu satellite rights lapped up, news about the other rights being sold out are expected soon.
