Bhavana’s next film would be Vilakkumaram in which she plays the role of a teacher. Reports say that it is a heroine-centric film in which the actor will be seen playing the central character. We hear from sources that Bhavana plays a lovable teacher in the movie which will highlight the problems faced by the teaching fraternity.

Director Vijay Menon will also be touching another important aspect which is about how some kids get labelled for life for some mistakes they commit at a young age. Written by Nikhil Menon, son of Vijay Menon, the film has Manoj K Jayan, Geethu Vijayan, Suraj Venjaramoodu and others in the star cast. Vilakkumaran is in the post production stage and it is expected to hit the silver screens soon.

Vijay Menon is a well known dubbing artiste and actor as well. He has directed Nilavinte Nattil in 1986 and Pranayaaksharangal in 2001.  Vilakumaram is his third directorial venture and being a heroine-centric film, the expectations are high. It may be mentioned here that he had won the 2017 Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing Artist - for dubbing for Samuthirakani in Oppam.

Bhavana made her acting debut with the Malayalam film Nammal in 2002 and went on to win the Kerala State Film Special Jury Award and Asianet Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in it. Since then, she has acted in a number of films including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Her last release was Adventures of Omanakkuttan, which hit the silver screens on May 19th, 2017 and she is currently busy with Adam John, a thriller that has Prithviraj playing the main lead. Apart from these movies, Bhavana is also busy with Oru Visheshapetta Biriyanikissa.
