Regina Cassandra celebrated her birthday a couple of days ago and the Awe team released her look in the upcoming film as a special gift. The actor looks gorgeous as usual and it promises that she would have a performance-oriented role in the film.
On the release of the poster, Awe’s producer and actor Nani tweeted, “I know how much u worked hard on this one reg @ReginaCassandra. Wishing you a very very happy birthday from team #AWE :).” Replying to this tweet, she tweeted, “The best birthday gift Nani!”
Directed by Prashanth Varma, the film is being produced by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani under the banner Wall Poster Cinema. In fact, Awe is Nani’s maiden production venture. On producing the film, Nani is reported to have said that he was much impressed with the story and decided to bankroll it. He added that it is a completely new story for the Telugu audiences and they would love it.
Being a women-centric film, it has Kajal Agarwal, Regina Cassandra and Nithya Menen playing the main leads with the star cast also including Srinivas Avasarala, Eesha Rebba, Murali Sharma, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, Rohini Molleti, Hari Teja and Devadarshini. Ravi Teja and Nani have done the voice over for this film. Karthik Ghattamaneni has cranked the camera for this flick with Goutham Nerusu roped in for editing.
While the shooting of Awe is currently on, Nani is busy with the release of his upcoming film, MCA (Middle Class Abbayi). Directed by Venu Sreeram, the film is getting ready to hit the silver screens on December 21 as a Christmas special. It has Sai Pallavi playing the female lead with Bhumika Chawla in an important role. MCA is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
