A tweet to the Telangana DGP sparked action among officials as the Hyderabad police on Friday, booked a case against a wine shop owner in the city.
Sidharrth M Hemmadi, who lives in Banjara Hills, took a video of people consuming liquor openly outside the Suresh Wine Shop in the city.

Immediately, a police team reached the wine shop and picked up the drunkards who were creating nuisance. Police also registered cases on Suresh Wines owner B Sekhar Goud for allowing customers to consume liquor in a public place.
