The Twitter account of Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was hacked on Wednesday night.
Seven to eight tweets were posted on his Twitter account, all of them abusive.
The tweets had disparaging remarks about Rahul and the Gandhi family.
The first set of seven to eight tweets were posted in a matter of five minutes. The tweets were deleted almost immediately. But the tweets kept coming.
One of the tweets were pinned to his profile and it said, "I like big butts and I cannot lie." (This was at 9.00pm).
The display picture was also blanked out. His display name was also changed to Retard Gandhi.
At 8.50 pm, the pinned tweet said that in a series of tweets, the Congress will be exposed.
The cyber attack on the account was still on at 9.20 pm. A tweet at 9.20 pm said, "Till the day I die, I be buried in the mud. The day I die this world shall rejoice."
Though the tweets were getting deleted immediatrly, new ones kept popping up.
@OfficeOfRG hacked. Such lowly tactics will never drown the sane voice of reason nor deter Sh. Rahul Gandhi from raising people's issues.
