There are also allegations that the investigation team travelled in Nisham’s car.Photo Courtesy : The New Indian ExpressApparently the police have been facing charges of protecting and meting out favours to the murder accused right from the beginning of the probe.Meanwhile the Kerala Government on Thursday suspended Jacob Job, former City Police Commissioner, Thrissur, for holding a secret meeting with Mohammed Nisham.Thrissur Range Inspector General (IG) TJ Jose had earlier submitted a report to the Home department stating that Job had violated rules by questioning Nisham in a closed room in the absence of any other officers.At the time of the suspension, Job was Superintendent of Police, Pathanamthitta. As per reports, a preliminary vigilance probe is already on against Job over the same charge.Tweet
