Come August 8, the regular shooting of Pawan Kalyan’s Telugu remake of ‘Veeram’ will start rolling.
To be helmed by Dolly, who previously worked with the ‘Gabbar Singh’ actor in ‘Gopala Gopala’, the project also starred Shruti Haasan.
In a sudden twist of events, reliable sources have informed us that the makers have replaced Shruti with Rakul, who is on a roll with projects with all the leading Telugu stars including Mahesh Babu in her kitty.
While the exact reason of Shruti’s replacement is yet to be known, it is believed that Rakul hasn’t signed on the dotted line yet.
Since she also has a project with Mahesh Babu in the offing, she’s figuring out dates as they are very crucial to be part of both the projects.
Rakul is reportedly very excited to have bagged an opportunity to work with Pawan, because she had lost a chance to collaborate with him in the past.
Having already had a release each with Jr. NTR and Allu Arjun earlier this year, Rakul has a packed year ahead with Ram Charan’s ‘Dhruva’ and Mahesh Babu’s project gearing up for release.
