The makers of Rajinikanth-starrer 2.o are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to creating an epic experience with their film, which is tipped to be made on a budget of about Rs 350 crore, surpassing S.S Rajamouli’s Baahubali as the most expensive Indian project.

Currently being shot in a specially erected set in EVP World, Chennai, the film’s makers are said to have set aside a budget of nearly Rs 100 crore for the graphics alone as filmmaker Shankar is very particular that the output should be nothing short of phenomenal. Shankar has also roped in multiple companies to work on the film’s graphics.

According to sources from the film’s unit, a total of seven well-known companies are working on the graphics of the film and it’s believed that Shankar plans to spend a minimum of a year on the film’s post-production, particularly on the visual effects. Having recently completed a major schedule in Delhi, the makers, as soon as they wrap up the latest schedule in Chennai, will head to Morocco to shoot some important sequences.

In the Chennai schedule, a major action episode will be shot besides a few important scenes. Double Oscar-winning composer A. R Rahman is said to have already completed composing two songs for the film, which also features Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and Sudhanshu Pandey.
