Chandrasekhar Rao announced his plans to build huge skyscrapers and improve infrastructure around the Hussainsagar Lake which is less than 5 km away from the scene of the accident.26 year old Satyavani, who is a house wife accidently slipped and fell into an open drain when she was returning home after attending a function at around 9 pm.Her body was found half an hour later after a search operation by the police.According to a report in the Times of India, This incident comes close on the heels of another similar tragedy. An aged person fell into an unguarded manhole just a few metres away from his home. The body of the man was found in the manhole the next day. Both these deaths, underlines the utter apathy of the civic authorities for the safety of the citizens.
