The News Minute| July 31, 2014| .15 pm ISTOne more sex scandal is rocking Kerala, this time a gang of people from Kochi have been accused of filming sexual acts and blackmailing many people, including politicians. The scandal broke when an NRI complained to the Kochi police that he was being blackmailed and a gang had demanded Rs 3 crores from him. The case took a political turn when one of the accused was found hiding in a former Congress MLA's hostel room. the accused Jayachandran was arrested while he was hiding in a hostel room taken on behalf of Congress state general secretary Sarathchandra Prasad. Ex-legislators get rooms at the hostel for Rs 10 a day.Two of the people arrested in the case are two women, Bindiya and Ruksana. Other than luring people, Bindiya also used to mimic a male voice and blackmail 'victims', calling herself Robert.. One such audio clip, in which Bindiya/Robert is threatening the NRI has been published by Reporter TV in Kerala.The conversation is in Malayalam. Victim- I will give you the money that I can. Someone has mislead you, I din't have too much money.Bindiya/ Robert- We are aware of all the cash and property you have.(Then they argue about what the 'victim' owns)The man begs to Robert who says that he has just one day to give Rs 3 crores. Robert then says, "This is your last chance."
