British Airways have done themselves a huge disfavour after they supposedly misplaced Sachin Tendulkar’s baggage.
The tweet by Tendulkar, complaining about the incident, got retweeted almost 1000 times within just two hours.
Tendulkar tweeted, “And luggage being tagged by @British_Airways to wrong destination and don't care attitude!#NeveronBA (2/2).”
He had initially tweeted about his displeasure over his family members being denied seats on the plane, despite the presence of several unoccupied seats.
The tweet read, “Angry Disappointed and Frustrated.. #BAdserviceBA Family member's waitlisted ticket not confirmed despite seats being available (1/2)
Twitter was abuzz with comments after the official twitter handle of British Airways asked Tendulkar for his full name, address and other details in order to assist him in the matter.
Tendulkar is currently playing in the All Stars exhibition matches in California, USA where he is leading a team of former superstars against another one led by Shane Warne.
