The News Minute | December 21, 2014 | 12.16 pm IST Incidents of moral policing are often reported in Mangaluru but on Friday evening, a Whatsapp message stating that a girl belonging to one community was watching Aamir Khan starrer 'PK' with a boy from another community in Aruna theatre in Puttur town was doing rounds, reported The Hindu. On receiving news, police personnel and members from both the communities rushed to the theatre and the girl was summoned outside for questioning by the police. It was found that the girl had been watching the movie with her parents and an unknown youth happened to sit next to her. The police then dismissed the 'rumour' and sent back the girl and parents to watch the rest of the movie. The crowd that had gathered was also disbursed. The police later found that someone had notice the boy and girl sitting next to each other and had presumed things and had circulated the false message.
