The Prabhas starrer Saaho began shooting a couple of months ago after the team impressed movie buffs with a teaser.
With Prabhas playing the lead role in the film after hogging the limelight with the spectacular Baahubali, which went on becoming a huge hit, expectations about what Saaho could be about have risen.
In fact, it was made clear much earlier that Saaho would belong to a very different genre from what Baahubali was. The latest we hear about the project is that it is a complete action entertainer with the lead star appearing in a stylish avatar.
Movie buffs are eager to know more details about the film and the latest info we have on it is that ‘Saaho’ is a name. Reportedly, Sharaddha Kapoor, who plays the female lead in the project, had disclosed this detail to a media house.
However, the actor refused to disclose whose name it is in the film, but the guesses are that it must to be Prabhas’ name.
Written and directed by Sujeeth, the film has a bevy of stars in the cast including Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor as the lead pair with Neil Nitin Mukesh playing the baddie.
Others in supporting roles are Arun Vijay, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Pandey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Tinnu Anand, Narendra Jha, Aditya Srivastava, Lal and Vennela Kishore.
Made on a humongous budget, the film is bankrolled by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy and Prabhas under the banners UV Creations and Dharma Productions.
Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy are composing music for this venture with Madhie wielding the camera and A Sreekar Prasad roped in for editing.
The filmmakers have huge plans for its release as the film will be out in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam considering the pan Indian appeal of it lead star Prabhas.
