The official trailer of Vishal’s Action was released on Sunday, for Deepavali. The two-minute trailer has plenty of action sequences just like its teaser, which was released in September.

The one-minute teaser had plenty of action sequences with guns, dirt bikes, bikes, ATVs (the shooting of which reportedly caused an injury), motorboats and cars. In the trailer too we can see such stunts. Super Deluxe fame Ashwanth (Rasukutty) is seen briefly in the trailer.

Tamannaah is seen accompanying Vishal in some of his stunts, jumping off a roof in one shot. The story seems to be focussing on an international issue concerning two nations. Aishwarya Lekshmi also makes an appearance in the trailer that ends with Vishal making a reference to his previous film Irumbu Thirai’s plot and Yogi Babu delivers a funny one-liner in response.

The film is expected to release this November. Action also stars Akanksha Puri, Kabir Duhan Singh and Ramki. Directed by Sundar C, the film’s music has been composed by Hiphop Tamizha. Popular cinematographer Dudley who has worked in Bollywood films like Dilwale, Jagga Jasoos has worked on this film while Srikanth NB has edited it.

Action has been produced by R Ravindran under the banner of Trident Arts. Action has been shot in various picturesque locations in Turkey and Azerbaijan.

In addition to Action, Vishal has confirmed that he will be reuniting with Mysskin for the sequel of their 2017 film Thupparivaalan. Composer Ilaiyaraaja has been roped in to score the music. It has already been confirmed that Prasanna will return to play his character from the first part. The rest of the cast, however, is yet to be finalised for Thupparivaalan 2. Vishal’s Irumbu Thirai will also be getting a sequel soon. The film is expected to bring Regina Cassandra on board. More details on both his next projects are awaited.
