Singer Akon, who has delivered hits like ‘Lonely’ and ‘Beautiful’ was recently seen enjoying a Telugu song.
Released earlier this month, the track ‘Pedda Puli’ from the upcoming film Chal Mohan Ranga, is a hit. And Akon seems to agree.
In a video tweeted by Nithiin, one of the lead actors in the film, Akon can be seen watching TV when 'Pedda Puli' is playing. After that, he says, “Big shouts to the Chal Mohan Ranga team. I see the movie’s on its way out. Good luck on the release; make sure y’all go to the box-office to support.”

Nithiin tweeted the video on Thursday, and said that he felt “ecstatic” as the “legendary” singer had watched and appreciated the song.

The film also stars Megha Akash and features music composed by Thaman SS of Bhagamathie and Tholi Prema fame.
'Pedda Puli' is the third single released from Chal Mohan Ranga. ‘Gha Gha Megha’ and ‘Vaaram’, released previously, have become favourites, too.
'Pedda Puli' is reportedly a remix of an old Telugu folk song performed during the Bonalu festival. The folk song describes the heroic acts of of Gandi Maisamma, a deity revered in Telangana.
Directed by Krishna Chaitanya, the film also brings together Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram as producer and writer respectively.
