The recently launched trailer of “Batkid Begins” takes us back to Batkid Day when the US city of San Francisco turned into Gotham City for a pint-sized hero. On November 15, 2013, Miles Scott, a cancer survivor who was then five years old lived his dream of becoming Batman with the help of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The story spread like wildfire on social media and made an impact around the world. Among the 25,000 people who supported him was President Barack Obama. According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, the young batman was praised by Christian Bale and Michael Keaton, actors who have been associated with the Batman character and franchise. Julia Roberts secured the rights to the film, which is said to document Scott’s journey from his battle with cancer to becoming an online sensation. The Warner Bros. documentary, directed and produced by Dana Nachman, will hit theatres on June 26.
