Hafeez Ahmed Bhatti and his wife were travelling to the Sydney Airport to catch a flight to Brisbane on April 15th when an old Australian woman on the train began to racially abuse them from across the carriage, reportedly calling the woman an ISIS supporter just because she was wearing a burkha.A fellow traveller, Stacey Eden, also an Australian, stood up for the Muslim couple and gave a fine verbal thrashing to the racist woman. She later put up a video of a part of their conversation, and narrated the incident on the wall. The couple was travelling with their 4-month-old son, minding their own business when the lady dressed in red began to accusing them of being ISIS supporters.Stacey’s post went on to attract widespread attention, getting almost 60,000 views, being shared by more than 12,000 people. She was, however, unaware that Bhatti had taken to Facebook to express his disappointment at the attack, a few hours before the video was uploaded. He also mentioned the “young Australian lady (who) was arguing with her that she should stop racism” and went on to express his gratitude to her.Stacey and the Bhattis regained contact. Bhatt also shared the video, thanking Stacy for supporting them. So i sat there for a good 10 minutes before i started recording this, while i listened to this woman bad mouth muslims...
