The News Minute | December 30, 2014 | 10:10 am IST Just days after the Bengaluru Police had granted permission to restaurants and hotels in the city to remain open till 2 am on New year's eve, the cops have changed the timing in the wake of the Church Street blast, states a report by The New Indian Express. Restaurants and hotels will now have to close at 1 am. The police is also planning to impose restriction on public gathering in and around the MG Road on the eve of January 1st during the New Year celebration. The report quotes Commissioner of Police MN Reddi as saying “ I will hold a meeting with police officers to decide the nature of restrictions".
