Birthday celebrations have already begun among Ajith’s fans! The Thala will be ringing in his 46th birthday on May 1, 2017 and his fans have begun the month-long celebrations. Though the star disbanded all his fans associations a few years ago, he still enjoys immense popularity among the movie buffs. Ajith’s fans, in fact, voluntarily celebrate his birthday every year in a grand manner holding blood donation camps, distributing freebies like books, tailoring machines, etc. for the needy.
This year, the star’s fans are waiting eagerly for his upcoming film Vivegam’s teaser. Reports have it that the Vivegam team had originally planned to release the teaser on Tamil New Year’s Day on April 14, 2017 but decided to postpone it to coincide with Ajith’s birthday on May 1. Well, that would be an apt treat for all Ajith fans worldwide!
Directed by Siva, Vivegam stars Kajal Agarwal and Akshara Haasan as heroines. While Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been roped in to play the villain in this action entertainer, Vivegam has four comedians in the cast including Thambi Ramaiah, Karunakaran, Appu Kutty and Mottai Rajendran.
It may be mentioned here that Vivegam is the third film where director Siva and Ajith are teaming up with the first two being – Veeram and Vedhalam. Both Veeram and Vedhalam had received a positive response from the audiences and the team hopes to score a hat-trick.
The film has been shot extensively in Slovenia and Bulgaria apart from Chennai. According to reports, a major portion of Vivegam has been shot in Europe as the main plot of the film is set there. Anirudh is composing music for this flick which has camera work by Vetri and editing by Rubens. The film is slated to hit the silver screens in August this year and will most probably be an Independence Day weekend release.
