The Visakhapatnam city police arrested three juveniles on Sunday in connection with death of a 15-year-old student, studying in class 10.

The Deccan Chronicle reported that Chinna, who was studying in a private school in Madhurawada, began speaking to a girl in Class 8. This angered the accused in the case, who was Chinna’s junior, and was also studying in Class 8.

As the argument escalated, Chinna also allegedly lodged a false complaint with school authorities, against the accused, the DC report adds.

Following this, the parents of both the students were reportedly called, and counselled over the issue.

This greatly irked the accused, who hatched a plan to take ‘revenge’ against his senior.

On Saturday, the accused approached Chinna along with his cousin and a friend and entered into a fight. The trio then allegedly thrashed their senior, India Today reported.

Chinna suffered severe head injuries and died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city.

The police said that medical experts who examined the body, stated that the boy had suffered a cardiac arrest during the treatment, after suffering from a head injury, due to falling on the road .

Police have registered a case against the teenagers and sent all the three accused students to a juvenile home in Visakhapatnam.

In May this year, a 17-year-old boy was beaten to death over a cricket match in West Godavari district’s Tanuku town.

Sandeep along with his friends was playing cricket at a local community hall ground, when another youngster asked if he could join the game.

When refused, the accused snatched the cricket bat from Sandeep’s hand and thrashed him, which led to his death.

In April, 23-year-old Kiran Kumar, an engineering student, was stabbed to death in Vijayawada over a dispute arising from a game of cricket.

At the time, it was reported that Kiran was playing cricket in his colony with some children, when the ball accidentally hit a woman Devaki Devi.

Kiran reportedly tried to make peace, and apologized to the woman. However, her son P Srikanth picked up an argument, and stabbed Kiran, leading to his death.
