Vijay Deverakonda’s fans are in for some delightful news. The star’s upcoming movie Hero will be released in all four south Indian languages – Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Considering the universal appeal of the subject, the makers of Hero has decided to release it in multiple languages. The film’s shooting will commence on April 22 in New Delhi. The film is directed by Aanadannamalai and is produced by Mythri films.

The film also marks the reunion of Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey with Vijay Deverakonda. Malavika Mohanan will play the second female lead.

Vijay is currently wrapping shooting for his upcoming flick Dear Comrade, which would also be hitting screens in all four south Indian languages. Vijay Deverakonda will be playing a student leader with communist background in this flick while Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as a cricketer playing for the Telangana state. Sources in the know say that Rashmika is trying hard to get into the skin of the character by learning the nuances of cricket. She underwent special training at the cricket club in Hyderabad before the shoot began.

Directed by Bharat Kamma, Dear Comrade is reportedly inspired from the Mollywood movie Comrade in America. It had Dulquer Salman playing the lead role. Dear Comrade is being produced by Y. Naveen, Y. Ravi Shankar and C. V. Mohan under the banner Mythri Movie Makers.

Vijay Deverakonda shot to limelight with the grand success of the Telugu flick Arjun Reddy which won him critical acclaim and awards. This movie is currently being remade in Hindi and Tamil. He topped up the success with films like Geetha Govindam and Taxiwala last year which were big box office hits.
