A major earthquake of magnitude 7.5 on the Richter scale hit Nepal on Saturday morning, following which massive tremors were felt across several regions in northern India.    According to media reports, widespread damage has been caused in Nepal.    In India, the tremors which lasted for over a minute were reportedly felt in cities including Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Patna, Jaipur and Chandigarh.    Several buildings were evacuated and people rushed out of their homes too.    Social media users have been giving live updates about the incident with few also uploading photographs and videos of the incident.  This was the #earthquake that we just experienced in #Delhi.
