Looks like reports that the Jr NTR – Trivikram Srinivas project has been called off is not true after all.
According to sources in the know, the film is very much on cards with Trivikram making all arrangements to get it on to the floors. This project, which will be NTR’s 28th film and in all probability, this untitled film will start rolling in March.
It may be recalled that there were reports a couple of weeks ago that Jr NTR wanted to call off this project following Trivikram’s last release Agnyathavaasi did not do too well at the box office added to the fact that it was mired in controversy over plagiarism charges.
But now, sources reveal that the director has picked a famous novel penned by Yaddanapudi Sulochana Rani and his film with Jr NTR is an adaptation of it.
Further, we hear that Anirudh was initially onboard to score the music for this yet to be titled film but now it looks like Devi Sri Prasad will be wielding the music baton. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
With the team busy with the prep work, more details about the star cast and crew are expected to be revealed later this month.
Jr NTR, whose last outing was Jai Lava Kusa, in which he had donned triple roles, will team up Trivikram Srinivas for the first time. This has created a lot of expectations for the film among the fans and the trade circles.
With Agnyathavasi turning out to be a box office dud, Trivikram is working hard to regain his lost glory and Jr NTR and Trivikram Srinivas teaming up for the first time, expectations are high on this project.
