  1. The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have intensified their probe to trace the origin of the Rs 50 lakh bribe amount that was seized in the cash-for-vote case. ACB sleuths have already grilled Vem Krishna Keertan Reddy, son of TDP leader and MLC candidate Vem Narender Reddy, for two days besides TDP youth wing activists and Revanth Reddy's driver. Making it clear that respecting every religion was not at all a violation of secularism, the Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday dismissed a PIL seeking to declare as illegal the action of the Telangana and AP state governments in propagating the Maha Pushkaralu, Deccan Chronicle reports. 3. Social scientist Kancha Ilaiah hit back at VHP after a notice was served to him by the Hyderabad police. The case pertains to an article published in the newspaper, written by Kancha Ilaiah titled "Is God not a democrat?" Kancha Ilaiah told TNM that,"VHP has been against developing social science talk in India." 4. The ruling TRS in Telangana would raise its demand for establishing a separate high court for Telangana and Andhra Pradesh during the monsoon session of Parliament. TRS MPs had earlier met Union Ministers and also the common Governor for both states ESL Narasimhan recently in support of their demand.
