  1. AP chief minister N Chandrababu landed in fresh trouble after Wikileaks recently released a chain of e-mails, which claim that 'Ortus Consulting,' a Hyderabad based firm sent an e-mail to Milan based IT company 'Hacking team' to enquire about "Cellular interception hardware solutions," for the intelligence branch of the AP police. This comes in the backdrop of Naidu alleging that the Telangana government was tapping the phones of various TDP leaders. Read TNM's report. 2. The Andhra Pradesh Advocates’ Joint Action Committee on Sunday set July 31 for the government to set up a seperate High Court. A resolution to this effect was adopted at a meeting attended by members of bar associations from all districts in Ongole. The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is contemplating the purchase a reservoir for its future water needs from the AP government. The TTD is currently facing a shortage of drinking water and if the Balaji Reservoir is completed quickly, the TTD will get its share. So, the officials have suggested that the TTD either give financial assistance for Balaji Reservoir or purchase the reservoir, says a report in The New Indian Express. 5. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday unveiled the statue of TDP founder and former chief minister N.T. Rama Rao as Lord Krishna which was installed between old and new railway bridges at Pushkara Ghat. The Chief Minister unveiled the statue amidst a large number of his Ministerial colleagues, TDP and BJP MLAs and MLCs. Police made elaborate security arrangements, anticipating protests from Opposition parties against the installation of the statue. Read details.
