It was decided that the state unit of the party would be headed by the son of the party chief. H D Kumarswamy has been chosen the party chief as it was apparently the will of the party workers.Obviously, they did not ask some of the workers who very vocally rebelled against the leadership (or lack of it) shown by Kumaraswamy and his father H D Deve Gowda.So here’s summing up the party’s present scenario in three songs to the party that has earned itself the nickname “part of the father and sons”Much of the recent tension in the party of late, was because many members were unhappy with the party leadership, and wanted an outsider, not one of the family to head the state unit of the party. HDK has a lot of hopes riding on him. Well, it may just well be his father who has a lot of expectations of him.
