There’s good news for Ajith fans in Karnataka, with a Thala film set to hit the screens on the coming weekend. With Kannada film industry restrictions on dubbing films into the language being relaxed, the dubbed version of Ajith’s blockbuster hit Yennai Arindhaal is set to hit the screens.
Yennai Arindhaal has been titled as Sathyadev IPS for Sandalwood audiences. Directed by Gautham Menon, the film stars Anushka Shetty and Trisha Krishnan, besides Arun Vijay, Nasser, Baby Anikha, Suman, Parvathy Nair and Vivek. Interestingly, Arun Vijay, who generally plays a protagonist in Kollywood, played the baddie in this movie.
Presented by AR Rathinam and produced by S Aishwarya under the banner Shri Sai Raam Creations, Yennai Arindhaal features a soundtrack composed by Harris Jayaraj, cinematography by Dan Macarthur and SR Kathir and editing by Anthony.
Meanwhile, Ajith himself is currently busy shooting Thala 57, the Siva-directed Vivegam.
