Actor Allu Arjun is gung-ho about the way his film Duvvada Jagannadham is shaping up. The teaser of DJ will be out on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri.
Sources say that it is likely to out on February 24 or 25. Earlier, there were reports that the teaser may be out on February 18 to coincide with the Sarrainodu teaser launch, which was All Arjun’s last release, but for some reason it was changed to Maha Shivaratri.
Touted to hit the silver screens in mid 2017, DJ’s shooting commenced last year amidst a lot of fanfare.
According to sources, the filmmakers are aiming for a May 19 release to cash in on the summer vacations. Produced by Dil Raju under his banner Venkateswara Creations, DJ is directed by Harish Shankar.
Pooja Hegde is pairing up with Allu Arjun in this flick which has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
The shooting is progressing in and around Hyderabad at a breakneck speed as a major portion of the film is set there, according to sources.
Soon after wrapping up DJ, the actor will move over to the Tamil – Telugu bilingual directed by Lingusamy.
