TDP MLA and senior leader Revanth Reddy has been arrested by the Anti Corruption Bureau for allegedly bribing an MLA's son ahead of the MLC polls.According to reports, the ACB arrested the TDP MLA red handed, when he was handing over money to a nominated Anglo-Indian MLA Stephenson's son, who had informed the ACB a day ahead of the money exchange.The ACB then set up a trap and arrested Revanth. However, the TDP and the ACB have refused to comment on the happenings of the incident as of now. Revanth Reddy had allegedly offered Rs.50 lakhs of the agreed Rs.5 crore amount for the nominated MLA to vote in his party's favour.A case has also been reportedly registered against Revanth under the Prevention of Corruption Act. He is currently in custody and the ACB are expected to make an announcement shortly. Two other persons were also reportedly arrested with him.The TDP has 15 legislators in the 119-member assembly but already lost five of them to the TRS.
