Following the release of Chiranjeevi starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, reports have now emerged hinting that the film’s director Surender Reddy will be teaming up with actor Prabhas.
The industry grapevine is that he has a story which would suit the actor and is planning on narrating it to him soon. Latest reports also suggest that ace producer Dil Raju will be bankrolling this film under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
In the meantime, the other buzz is that the director also approached actor Mahesh Babu recently, who is also keen to collaborate with the Sye Raa director. Mahesh Babu is currently shooting for Anil Ravipudi's Sarileru Neekevvaru which is being bankrolled jointly by Anil Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu under the banner AK Entertainments, Sri Venkateswara Creations, GMB Entertainment. Devi Sri Prasad will be composing music for this venture.
Prabhas is currently busy with the KK Radha Krishna directorial Jaan. The film is being bankrolled jointly by Gopi Krishna Movies and UV Creations and Chandrasekar Yeleti has penned the story. It is being shot simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Amit Trivedi has been roped in to compose the tunes for this flick with Manoj Pramahamsa handling the cinematography department.
Surender Reddy has managed to capture the attention of the film buffs with his latest release Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film on the legendary freedom fighter was released recently and turned out to be a huge hit. It had the mega star Chiranjeevi playing the title role with a bevy of stars in the cast. Sye Raa was bankrolled by Chiru’s son and actor Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crores. Sye Raa had several stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it and Amit Trivedi wielding the music baton.
