Swipe Technologies, an Indian mobile phone company has announced that its latest phone, the Swipe Konnect Power, which went on sale on Snapdeal starting Monday. This can be treated as an entry level smartphone, but Swipe has tried to pack it with some decent specs and features.

The new Swipe Konnect Power sports a display of 5-inch size and the screen resolution of 720x1280p offers a HD quality display.

A quad-core processor capable of a clocking speed of 1.5GHz along with 2GB RAM form the backbone of this device. Swipe has stuck to the Android Marshmallow version 6 as the operating system, instead of trying out the latest Nougat, which most smartphones seem to have moved to, at least in the last couple of months.

As far as the internal storage is concerned it will be 16GB and can be doubled through a microSD card.

The imaging department features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front sensor for selfies. There is the LED flash support available for the rear camera.

The battery fitted on this Swipe Konnect Power smartphone is 3000mAh. This, along with the 2GB RAM, is what the company wants to consider as the USPs that can convince customers to buy the device.

The company claims the battery will last a whole day when fully charged.

All connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are present except GPS.

As mentioned, Snapdeal is selling the Swipe Konnect Power online on its portal and it is an exclusive deal. The price is just Rs 4, 999, which should prove to be quite attractive and some of the other phones in the market like Redmi 4 A may start feeling the heat. That augurs well for an Indian brand phone under any circumstances.
