The theatrical teaser of Suriya’s S3, the third installment in the Singam franchise, will be unveiled on November 7, and it happens to be Kamal Haasan’s birthday.
Although the makers haven’t confirmed that the teaser is being released on the particular day to coincide with Haasan’s birthday, it is believed so because Suriya himself is a die-hard fan of Kamal Haasan. With the film’s motion poster having already created enough buzz, Suriya’s fans are eagerly looking forward to the teaser.
Directed by Hari, who had helmed the first two parts, the film is gearing up for release on December 10 worldwide, in Tamil and Telugu. The film will see the return of Suriya as the righteous and fierce cop Durai Singam, and he will be seen locking horns with Thakur Anoop Singh, who is making his debut as the antagonist.
The film also stars Anushka Shetty, who acted in the previous parts, and Shruti Haasan in the lead, apart from a well-known supporting cast.
According to the director, S3 will be grander and even more dramatic than the first two installments, and it will feature Suriya in a fiercer role.
