The first look poster of the Suriya starrer NGK-Nandha Gopalan Kumaran raked up the curiosity levels of the film buffs and now the second poster has upped it even high. A political drama that is being directed by Selvaraghavan, the film is being bankrolled by SR Prakashbabu and SR Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures.

Reliance Entertainment has bagged the distribution rights for the film. While the first poster of NGK was released on March 5 this year, the second poster was out to commemorate Suriya’s birthday on July 23.

NGK has Suriya in the title role and sharing the screen space with him are Sai Pallavi and Rakul Preet Singh. Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu will be seen playing a pivotal role in it. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the tunes for NGK and Siva Kumar Vijayan is cranking the camera with Praveen KL in charge of the editing.

This Suriya starrer is gearing up for release this Diwali and it may be out at the theatres on November 6 to coincide with the festival. Interestingly, the star has had two film releases this year with one being Thaana Serntha Kootam in which he played the lead and another brief cameo in his brother Karthi's Kadai Kutty Singam, which he had produced under his own banner 2D Entertainment.

The star will soon be wrapping up the shooting of NGK and move over to his next which will be directed by KV Anand. A mega budget film, it also has Mohanlal and Arya in important roles.

Sayyeshaa is playing Suriya’s pair in this film. Harris Jayaraj will be composing the tunes for this yet untitled film which is slated for release next year. This film will be shot in nearly ten countries and the crew has already zeroed in on some picturesque locations in New York, Brazil, England, Hyderabad and New Delhi. The film is touted to be the costliest project in Suriya’s career.
