In his upcoming project with Kabali director Pa.Ranjith actor Suriya may let his fists do the talking. While reliable sources said that the Singam star will play a boxer in the film, it is not known yet if the film will be based on a real-life boxer or on a fictional character.
The film has been in the pipeline for some time now, and Ranjith was supposed to begin work on it soon after “Madras”, but the project had to be put on the backburner because of “Kabali”.
The yet-untitled project, which is slated to go on the floors from September, will be bankrolled by Studio Green. Reportedly, Ranjith also has a script on land deals. In a recent interview, he revealed that he has a script that will require him to travel a lot as it will be based on real estate scams.
Although Ranjith has not confirmed if his film with Suriya will be based on this script, reliable sources say that Suriya is quite excited by the boxing-based script. Currently busy wrapping up “Singam 3”, Suriya will be teaming up with Ranjith for the first time.
