The team of Thalapathy 62, the upcoming Vijay starrer with A.R Murugadoss, has commenced the second schedule in Kolkata where they’ll shoot some scenes and an important chase sequence.

Apparently, popular Telugu stunt choreographers, the Ram-Lakshman brothers, who are currently working on Bharath Ane Nenu, Rangasthalam and Naa Peru Surya are on board the project. Having been around for over 15 years, they’ve also worked on projects such as Brindavanam and Mirchi among others.

The brothers have joined the sets and will be working on a busy schedule to juggle between the sets of Thalapathy 62 and Naa Peru Surya. All eyes are on Thalapathy 62 as the combination of Vijay and Murugadoss has set the bar very high. Two of Vijay's best films in recent years have come from Murugadoss and it naturally has built high anticipation around their next project.

It is believed that the project is being planned as a Deepavali 2018 release and it might lock horns with Ajith’s Viswasam at the box-office. Murugadoss, earlier this month, tweeted: "Happy Deepavali guys", hinting that the film will hit the screens for the festive occasion.

AR Rahman has been officially signed for the project, which will mark his reunion with Murugadoss after the Hindi version of Ghajini. Girish Gangadharan, the young lensman whose recent work includes Kali and Solo, will crank the camera. National award-winning editor Sreekar Prasad, who has worked with Murugadoss in projects such as Thuppakki and Spyder, is also part of the film. Keerthy Suresh is playing the leading lady.

Amid rumours that Vijay will reunite with Theri and Mersal director Atlee for his next project, reports have emerged that he might team up with Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru director H Vinoth, whose work really impressed him. He is said to have expressed interest to join hands. Vinoth, on the other hand, also has a project for Suriya in the offing which might take off later this year.
