It should be really annoying for the Lucifer team to deal with the never ending rumours about the film. Recently, a miscreant had shared details about the intro scene in the film which has irked the filmmakers and its crew. Apparently, the intro scene is described from the bits and pieces of information available about the film online and the promo posters and the teaser. In order to put an end to these rumors about the intro scene, Lucifer’s director Prithviraj Sukumaran had shared the Facebook post by the film’s writer Murali Gopy with the hash tag #StopLuciferRumors.

The post quotes one of these “rumours” that claims to give the intro scene of Lucifer – “It was pouring rain. Blood is oozing from the left hand. In silent mode, you only hear the sound of the blood dropping from Stephen’s hand (BGM) (back shot). After that, getting on a car with the number 666, Stephen looks back at the man sent to god (long shot). What an item. (This is the intro. Take the SS).” Murali Gopy, the writer of Lucifer, shares this post and writes, “The false rumours that never end.” Prithvi has shared Murali’s post.

Lucifer is currently in the post production stage and is gearing up for release later this month. Very little details about the film have been revealed so far to keep up the suspense factor intact, say sources. All we know so far is it is touted to be a political thriller and Mohanlal, the male lead, plays a politician called Stephen Nedumballi.

The film also has Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith, and the Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Those in the supporting roles include Kalabhavan Shajon, Sai Kumar, Saniya Iyappan, director Fazil, Sunil Sughatha, Thara Kalyan, Praveena Thomas, Nyla Usha and Mala Parvathy.

The technical crew of the film comprises Sujith Vaassudev for cinematography and Samjith for editing while Stephen Devassy is in charge of the music composition. Apparently, Mohanlal plays a politician in the film. It is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

The team is also keeping up the momentum by releasing on consecutive days the character posters of every actor as part of the promos.

Lucifer is scheduled for release on March 28th worldwide.
