Sony’s latest launch in India is the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch full HD display with the screen resolution of 1080x1920pixels and pepped up with an Image Enhance Technology. The main processor is the MediaTek Helio P20 SoC which is a 64-bit octa-core one and is ably supported on the graphics front by the Mali T-880 MP2 GPU.

The RAM is a strong 4GB and 32GB is the size of the internal memory storage. The Android Nougat version 7.0 is the operating system on this new Sony phone. The storage expansion facility via a microSD card to 256GB is also provided.

As can be expected from any Sony smartphone, it is the camera department that the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus excels, with a 23MP rear camera. It has an Exmor RS sensor, with hybrid focus and 24mm wide angle lens and f/20 aperture. The front camera is an 8MP sensor and has 23mm wide angle and the same f/2.0 aperture lens. Smartphone buyers whose priority is photography among other things will definitely find the camera features quite attractive.

The battery fitted on the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus is 3430mAh in size and the Quick Charger UCH12W (2.0) is there to enable you to charge the battery speedily. There are also other special technologies incorporated to extend battery life and to monitor and maintain long-term health of the battery in this phone.

The phone’s dimensions are 155mmx75mmx8.7mm and it weighs 190gms. The fingerprint sensor is fitted on the side of the phone which is rather unusual, but considered better from the security point of view. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus is being sold in 3 colors, Blue, Gold and Black.

The price Sony has fixed for this phone is Rs 24, 990 and can be purchased from their offline Sony Centres.
