Dulquer Salmaan has an interesting line up of films and these include his upcoming Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Solo, an anthology based on the four elements – fire, water, earth, and wind.

Apparently, he plays four different forms of Shiva in the film and his characters are Shiva, Shekhar, Trilok and Rudra. According to a Times of India article, “All the four characters of Dulquer - Shiva, Shekhar, Trilok and Rudra – in a way represent Lord Shiva. The theme of the film is based on the song, Shiva Taandav, which was recently released."

Having already released the looks of Shiva and Rudra, the makers are planning to release the looks of Shekhar and Trilok in the coming weeks. The film has four stories – two on love and the remaining on rage. Shiva is known for his extreme emotions when it comes to love and rage and the film, according to a source from the film’s unit, will tap into that.

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, the film also stars Neha Sharma, Shruti Hariharan, Arti Venkatesh and Sai Tamhankar among others. The film has been simultaneously shot in Tamil and Malayalam. After Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Ok Kanmani, this will be Dulquer’s third straight Tamil outing.

The project is likely to be dubbed in Telugu as well as Dulquer is currently shooting for Mahanati, a biopic on the legendary southern actor Savitri. In the film, he plays veteran actor Gemini Ganesan and his look, released for his birthday in July, was extremely well received.
