Chetan Bhagat’s novel, 2 States: The Story of My Marriage is being adapted into a movie in Telugu and the shooting of this project is in progress. Starring Adivi Sesh and Shivani Rajasekar, the film’s shooting has been happening in Kolkata from the past few weeks. The film is being directed by Venkat who will be making his debut and is bankrolled by M.L.V. Sathyanarayana.

On it progress, its producer Sathyanarayana has told in an interview to the Deccan Chronicle, “We have completed two schedules each in Kolkata and Hyderabad.  The schedules done so far are very satisfactory. About 60 per cent of the production work is over. The last schedule will be shot in the US. The schedule got delayed because of visa issues. We now have got our visas and will kick-start the US schedule in January 2019.”

While Adivi Sesh is busy with this film, there was an announcement recently about his upcoming project, Goodachari 2. An official note released on the occasion of Adivi Sesh’s birthday stated earlier, “#Goodachariwillbeback. #Trinetra116 is getting ready. #Goodachari2 Shoot begins in mid-2019 and releases releases in 2020..gonna be bigger than ever @RahulPakala to Direct. @AdiviSesh @AnilSunkara1 @AKofficiial #HBDAdiviSesh.” (sic).

From the announcement, it has been confirmed that the shooting will commence in mid-2019 and the film will be out at the theatres in 2020. Confirming the news, Adivi Sesh posted on Twitter, “Thank you for the lovely wishes. Scripting begins for a Bigger. Badder. Better.”

It may be noted here that Adivi Sesh began his acting career with a cameo role in Sontham in 2002 and he has directed a few films as well. Adivi Sesh’s last film was Ami Thumi which hit the silver screens last year.
