The shooting of the Kicha Sudeep starrer Pailwan will be wrapped up with a duet song to be shot on the lead pair. The song will feature Sudeep and Akanksha Singh and will be choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Reports are that grand sets have been erected to shoot this song in Mumbai and Sudeep will be joining the sets on Wednesday, February 20. This duet will be one of the highlights in Pailwan, say sources in the know. While this song will be shot from Wednesday, the post-production has begun already and is going on simultaneously, we hear.

Directed by S Krishna, this film marks his collaboration with Sudeep for the second time after the massive success of Hebbuli in 2017. Pailwan is being bankrolled by Krishna’s wife Swapna under their banner and it is their maiden production venture.

Sudeep plays a boxer and wrestler in this flick and being his first ever sports drama, he did undergo a lot of training to learn the nuances of the martial arts. The actor flew down to Thailand where he underwent rigorous training under the guidance of some experts. It may be mentioned that a video has been released on the making of Pailwan and it has caught the attention of the movie buffs. In the video, there are clippings that show the efforts the star has put in to transform himself into a professional wrestler.

Arjun Janya has been roped in to compose the tunes for Pailwan while Karunakar will be cranking the camera.The film has Bollywood star Suneil Shetty in a pivotal role with Sushant Singh and Kabir Duhan Singh also included to the star cast. Reports are that plans are on to release Pailwan in multiple Indian languages but there is no official word on it yet.
