The News Minute | December 15, 2014 | 7.39 pm IST The hostage situation in Sydney which is now in its 16th hour has not stopped individuals present at the location from taking selfies and uploading them on twitter. According to report on Dailymail UK tourists who would normally take selfies with Sydney’s most iconic landmarks are now taking pictures of themselves locations as close as possible where the hostage siege is taking place. The report also goes on to say that some individuals to authenticate tne location of their pictures have taken selfies with television cameras in the background. There were a few others who were seen taking selfies as though they were celebrating the moment instead of being horrified with the chilling hostage crisis. The hostage situation which was first reported at 10 am on Monday morning has now entered its 16th hour where a gunman has held as many as 30 people against their will.
